Pamela studied the concert harp in California and England. Since starting her professional career, she has played regularly at leading hotels, stately homes and other venues throughout the North of England. She plays for wedding ceremonies and receptions, banquets, parties and other suitable events, the harp's restful and silvery sounds creating an attractive but non-intrusive atmosphere.
Pamela's standard repertoire contains ballads and show tunes, traditional harp pieces, light classics, and appropriate music for weddings, anniversaries, Christmas etc.. If the occasion demands, performance in costume, Elizabethan (below) to Victorian, with appropriate instrument and repertoire can be provided.
Pamela also plays historical harps (bray, cross-strung and triple harps) and other early instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy, cittern and sackbutt in the costumed early music ensembles The Leeds Waits and Stanhoppe's Musick.
